Drawing Lessons Build Creativity and Confidence at Our Centre
Children at the Kuwongola Initiative centre are learning drawing skills with Mercy, a Fine Arts student at Chancellor College, who guides them through creative practice.
Kuwongola Initiative runs drawing lessons at the centre to help children build creativity, observation skills and confidence. The sessions give learners an opportunity to express ideas through art while developing focus, patience and fine motor skills.
Mercy, the drawing instructor, is a Fine Arts student at Chancellor College. She supports the children step by step, helping them understand basic shapes, lines, shading and composition in a friendly and practical learning environment.
The art sessions are part of Kuwongola Initiative’s wider approach to education: children are encouraged not only to read and study, but also to imagine, create and communicate through different forms of learning.
