Women Learn Soap Making for Skills and Income Generation
A group of women received start-up capital and hands-on training in soap making to support practical livelihood skills and small business development.
Kuwongola Initiative supported a group of women with practical soap-making training as part of its women empowerment and livelihood skills work. The activity introduced participants to a hands-on skill that can be developed into a small income-generating activity.
The women were provided with start-up capital and trained on the basic process of making soap, including preparation, mixing, safety, handling materials and product finishing. The training was designed to be practical, community-based and easy to continue after the session.
Through activities like this, Kuwongola Initiative helps women gain confidence, learn useful production skills and explore small business opportunities that can support household resilience and local economic participation.
