Monthly Programme Update

This edition highlights Kuwongola Initiative’s connected approach to education and community development.

Foundational learning
Our Early Childhood Development work promotes play-based, structured learning, while Libraries and Literacy create safe reading spaces supported by reading aloud, storytelling and comprehension sessions. Art and drawing lessons help children build confidence, imagination and fine motor skills.

Youth development and leadership
Mentorship for girls and boys supports academic growth, career awareness and character development. Undergraduate mentors gain leadership experience while guiding younger learners. Chess sessions strengthen logic, patience and problem-solving.

Skills and economic empowerment
Entrepreneurship and women empowerment activities include sewing, soap making and small-business basics, helping participants connect practical skills with livelihood opportunities.
