Girls Mentorship and Sanitary Pad Distribution at Chiuzimbi Primary School
Kuwongola Initiative met 50 girls at Chiuzimbi Primary School for career guidance, academic coaching, puberty education and menstrual hygiene support, then distributed 150 sanitary pads.
Kuwongola Initiative visited Chiuzimbi Primary School for a focused girls mentorship and wellbeing session with 50 learners. The activity created a safe space for open conversation, encouragement and practical guidance for girls as they continue their education.
The session covered career guidance, coaching for better school performance, self-confidence, puberty and menstrual hygiene. The discussions helped learners understand how to prepare for the future, stay focused in class, and manage personal wellbeing with dignity.
At the end of the visit, the team distributed 150 sanitary pads to support menstrual hygiene and reduce one of the barriers that can affect girls’ school attendance. The activity reflects Kuwongola Initiative’s commitment to mentorship, health awareness and inclusive education for girls.
